Hot honey popcorn is a crave-worthy mix of sweet and spicy, made in minutes with just a few pantry staples. Perfect for movie night, parties, or whenever the craving hits.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 tbsp butter melted
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 1 tsp sriracha
  • 3 tbsp oil
  • 1/3 cup popcorn kernels
  • Salt

Instructions

  • Pop the popcorn and place it in a large mixing bowl.
  • In a small saucepan over medium-low heat, melt the butter and stir in the honey.
  • Add the chili flakes or cayenne and let the mixture simmer for 1–2 minutes. Do not boil.
  • Pour the hot honey mixture over the popcorn and toss immediately to coat evenly.
  • Taste and sprinkle with salt if desired. Serve warm.

Notes

  • Substitute cayenne with smoked paprika for a milder flavor.
  • Add roasted peanuts or pumpkin seeds for crunch.
